I clicked shut down for the computer to install windows updates, 134 of them, and it has been sitting with "Shutting down..." and the blue spinning ring next to it for maybe an hour. At first I was getting internet explorer 10 update error, but somehow, magically, that update installed, but...
I did a clean install of Windows 7 and have been having something odd on Windows update.
It seems like command 1 worked, but the rest didn't.
So has command 1 borked it, and how can Ire-enable it?
The computer clock in my Windows 7 b7100 installation has been gaining about 30 seconds per day.
I have tired setting the clock in Win7 to synchronize with time.and 4 different government servers.

I can set the time OK from either Windows time setting or an elevated command prompt.
